Self Care Saturday – Meditation

Meditation is such a great self-care activity because its just for you and your own good – no one else to worry about but yourself. Meditation helps reduce diseases and improve overall health. Meditation is helpful in cases of cancer, depression, bad spine, anxiety, and many other health issues. Meditation can enhance productivity. If we set aside thirty minutes a day, we reduce the amout of time that our mind wanders throughout our daily activities.

When we worry, we constantly think about all other times but the here and now. Meditation helps one to focus solely on the now and who we are at this very moment. If we take control of today, we can boldy move foward in the future.
